Our Story
Owner Billy Schubert started working in pest control as a teenager in 1987 to help support his family while his father served in the Navy. Over the years, he learned the industry from the ground up, including service, sales, and everything in between. Eventually, he became a top salesperson for the companies he worked with.
In 1997, Billy decided it was time to build something of his own that would allow him to support his family without sacrificing time with them, so he purchased Action Pest Control. Since then, the company has grown steadily, powered by hard work, honest communication, and old-fashioned follow-through: doing what we say we’ll do, when we say we’ll do it.
Today, Action is truly a family affair. Billy’s sons and nephews are key members of the team:
- Trey Schubert, Billy’s oldest son, grew up in the business and now helps lead operations in Oxford, MS, bringing a degree in Agronomy from Mississippi State University and years of hands-on field experience.
- Trevor Schubert works from the Olive Branch office and is a vital part of the termite department.
- Nephews Blake and Danny play major roles in sales, termite services, and commercial accounts, helping manage everything from apartment complexes to school districts and warehouses.
